RESOLUTION 12-29
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WAUKEE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO
CERTIFY LIENS FOR UNPAID CITY UTILITY RATES AND CHARGES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council ofthe City of Waukee desires that the Director of
Finance or his/her designee(s)be delegated the authority to certify a lien to the
applicable county treasurer for unpaid City utility rates and charges,including
delinquent water,sewer,garbage and storm water fees;and municipal infractions such
as mowing and snow removal violations.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 27th day of February,2012,that it hereby approves delegating authority to
the Director of Finance of the City of Waukee or his/her designee(s)to certify a lien to
the applicable county treasurer for unpaid City utility rates and charges,including
delinquent water,sewer,garbage and storm water fees;and municipal infractions such
as mowing and snow removal violations.
