RESOLUTION 12-37
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CITY COUNCIL
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY ORI ADDITION
COMMITTEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,on January 9,2012,the Waukee City Council approved an Agreement Pertaining
to Bequest by,between and among the Estate of Hiram Ori,the Waukee Public Library
Foundation,Waukee Library Board of Trustees and the City of Waukee (Resolution #12-17);
AND,
WHEREAS,one of the provisions of the agreement is the creation of a committee to undertake
design plan review,guidance and approval consisting of Richard Ori or his designee,the
President of the Library Board of Trustees,a City Council representative,the City Administrator,
a second member of the Library Board of Trustees,and the Library Director;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard appoints Council Member Dan Dutcher as the City
Council representative to the Waukee Public Library Ori Addition Committee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
27th day of February,2012,that the mayor's appointment is hereby approved.
