RESOLUTION 12-165
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PAINTED WOODS DRIVE FROM
350 PAINTED WOODS DRIVE TO 355 PAINTED WOODS DRIVE ON SATURDAY,
AUGUST 25,2012,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.AND 11:00 P.M.FOR THE
PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Maria Bruno of355 Painted Woods Drive requests the temporary closing of Painted
Woods Drive from 350 Painted Woods Drive to 355 Painted Woods Drive on Saturday,August 25,
2012,between the hours of 4:00 p.rn.and 11:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 16th
day ofJuly,2012,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Painted Woods Drive from 350
Painted Woods Drive to 355 Painted Woods Drive on Saturday,August 25,2012,between the bours of
4:00 p.m.and 11 :00 p.rn.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
