RESOLUTION 12-164
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE PARKER DRIVE FROM
505 SE PARKER DRIVE TO 525 SE PARKER DRIVE ON FRIDAY,AUGUST 24,2012,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:00 P.M.AND 10:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State onawa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Dustin Petty of 525 SE Parker Drive requests the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive
from 505 SE Parker Drive to 525 SE Parker Drive on Friday,August 24,2012,between the hours of
5:00 p.m.and 10:00 p.rn.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),pnblic ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolntion.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this is"
day of July,2012,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive from 505 SE
Parker Drive to 525 SE Parker Drive on Friday,August 24,2012,between the hours of 5:00 p.m.and
10:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
