RESOLUTION 12-193
APPROVING SERVICES AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND LUND FIRE PROTECTION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,as part of the 2009 International Fire Code,which was adopted by reference and
with amendments by the Waukee City Council on July 16,2012 (Ordinance #2714),the City can
require third patty review of technical plans related to fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems,
including rel ated electrical and mechanical schematics;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Fire Department recommends retaining the services of Lund Fire
Protection of Norwalk,Iowa,to perform such third party reviews;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the proposed agreement and fmds it acceptable.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
10th day of September,2012,that it hereby approves the Services Agreement by and between the
City of Waukee and Lund Fire Protection and hereby authorizes Waukee Fire Chief Clint
Robinson to execute said agreement on hehalfofthe City of Waukee.
