RESOLUTION 12-201
APPROVING FY2013 REPRESENTED CITY EMPLOYEE POSITION,
WAGE ADJUSTMENT AND MAINTENANCE MECHANIC LABORER I JOB
DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council shall annually review and approve proposed wages for City
employees whose positions change from non-represented to represented by the City of Waukee
Collective Bargaining Unit;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Council shall approve all new or changedjob description and
specifications,hereby adding the position of Maintenance Mechanic Laborer I;AND,
WHEREAS,the seasonal positions have now become permanent part time position 1111derthe
Collective Bargaining Agreement;AND,
WHEREAS,Jordan Lynch will be moved from seasonal laborer to permanent part time
Water/Wastewater Laborer I,assigned to the CWA Laborer -Step 1;and Randy Baker will be
moved from seasonal laborer to permanent part time Maintenance Mechanic Laborer I,assigned
to the CW A Laborer -Step 1;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOL YED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
10th day of September,2012,that it hereby approves the FY2013 wage for the represented
employees,Lynch and Baker and approves of the Maintenance Mechanic Laborer I Job
Description and Specification.
