RESOLUTION 12-194
APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR WATERSHED ASSESSMENT ENGINEERING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE AND VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,as part of the requirements of Part II.E,Post Construction Stonnwater
Management,of the City of Waukee's NPDES permit,the City is required to develop a
watershed assessment program in order to outline measures to be implemented which reduce
flooding,reduce erosion in ditches and streams,improve water quality and reduce degradation of
habitat for fish and wildlife;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommend retaining the services of Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,for
engineering services related to the watershed assessment program;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Proposal for Watershed Assessment Engineering between the City of Waukee and Veenstra &
Kimm,Inc.,is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 10th day of
September,2012.
