HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-09-17-Resolutions 12-208_Interim City Administrator Car AllowanceTHE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA RESOLUTION 12-208 A RESOLUTION RELATED TO CAR ALLOWANCE FOR THE INTERIM CITY ADMINISTRATOR IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal Organization;AND, WHEREAS,Director of Development Services Braclly M.Deets was appointed as Interim City Administrator,in addition to his regular duties,effective May 8,2012 (Resolution #12-110); AND, WHEREAS,as the Interim City Administrator needs an automobile to carry out his duties,it is the desire of the City Council to provide a car allowance of $350.00 per month with no additional pay for inlout of town mileage traveled in the course of City business;AND, WHEREAS,the Interim City Administrator shall be responsible for the purchase,operation, maintenance,repair,insurance and replacement costs of any personally-owned automobile he may use for said purposes;AND, WHEREAS,the proposed car allowance shall go into effect retroactive to May 8,2012 and shall remain in effect until the date of hire for a permanent City Administrator/Clerk. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that Interim City Administrator Deets shall be provided a car allowance in accordance with the terms set forth above.
