RESOLUTION 12-202
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOOKOUT COURT IN ITS ENTIRETY
AND SUGAR CREEK DRIVE FROM LOOKOUT COURT NORTH TO ITS TERMINUS ON
SATURDAY,OCTOBER 6,2012,BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 P.M.AND 11:30 P.M.
FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,GeoffWannouth of 2045 Sugar Creek D11ve requests the temporary closing of Lookout
Court in its entirety and Sugar Creek Drive from Lookout Court north to its terminus on Saturday,
October 6,2012,between the hours of 6:00 p.m.and 11:30 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood
block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.l2(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 17'11
day of September,2012,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Lookout Court in its entirety
and Sugar Creek Drive from Lookout Court north to its terminus on Saturday,October 6,2012,
between the hours of 6:00 p.m.and 11 :30 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
