RESOLUTION 12-213
DESIGNATING A CITY COLLECTIVE BARGAINING REPRESENTATIVE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized municipal
organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee will be entering into collective bargaining negotiations with
representatives of the Communications Workers of America (CWA)Local 7102,AJlL-CIO;
AND,
WHEREAS,State ofIowa Code §20.17(9)provides fOTthe designation of a bargaining
representative for the purpose of bargaining with public employees OTtheir representative;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
1st day of October,2012,that the Interim City Administrator is hereby designated as the City of
Waukee Collective Bargaining Representative pursuant to the provisions of State ofIowa Code
§20.17(9).
