RESOLUTION 12-216
APPROVING AMENDED AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES BY AND
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA,AND SLINGSHOT ARCHITECTS
(FORMERLY G.E.WATTIER ARCHITECTS),RELATED TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORJTYOFTHECITYOFWAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on October 10,2011,the Waukee City Council approved an agreement with GE Wattier
Architects,for Professional Services related to the design of the Waukee Community Center Project
(Resolution #11-198);AND,
WHEREAS,on June 18,2012,the Waukee City Council approved an agreement with GE Wattier
Architects,for Professional Services related to the design of the Waukee Public Library Ori Addition
Project (Resolution #12-146);AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee City staff recommends amending the Agreement for Professional Services for
the Waukee Community Center Proj ect in order to incorporate the changes related to combined
bidding documents for both proj ects and design modifications to the Waulcee Community Center
Project.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 1st day
of October,2012,that it hereby approves the Amended Agreement for Professional Services by and
between the City of Waukee,Iowa,and Slingshot Architects (formerly known as G.E.Wattier
Architects),related to Waukee Community Center and Waukee Public Lib ry Ori Addition Projects
