HomeMy WebLinkAbout2012-11-05-Resolutions 12-246_Job Descriptions - Various - RevisedTHE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA RESOLUTION 12-246 APPROVING CERTAIN REVISED JOB DESCRIPTIONS (ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT) IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas COlUIty,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal Organization;AND, WHEREAS,it is reconnnended that the reporting structure of certain job descriptions related to the Administration Department be revised;AND, WHEREAS,City staff recommends that the existing Assistant to the City Administrator position be revised to a new title of Administrative Services Manager/City Clerk and include new job responsibilities to better define the role of this position within the City,including supervisory responsibilities within the Administration Department including the Deputy City Clerk and SecretarylReceptionist positions;AND, WHEREAS,City staff further recommends the Deputy City Clerk and Secretary/Receptionist job descriptions be revised so that said positions report to the Assistant to the City Administrator/City ClerIc NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on this 5th day of November,2012,that it hereby approves revised job descriptions for the Administrative Services Manager,Deputy City Clerk and SecretarylReceptionist positions.
