RESOLUTION 12-260
APPROVING REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CHILDREN'S LIBRARIAN
AND INCREASE IN BUDGET FOR WAGES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,due to the resignation of a Waukee Public Library employee,it is recommended
that the job description and title for the Children's Librarian to include additional responsibilities
811deducation requirements to better serve the community;AND,
WHEREAS,it is also recommended by the Waukee Library Board of Trustees and Library staff
that the position include an increase in annual salary and benefits,with a total additional annual
budget impact of $25,703.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 19th day of November,2012,that it hereby approves the revised job description and increase
in budget for wages for the Children's Librarian position.
