RESOLUTION 12-265
APPROVING PURCHASE OF A FIRE ENGINE FROM ED M.FELD
EQillPMENT CO.,INC.,OF CARROLL,lA,IN THE AMOUNT OF $465,408.00
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Fire Department recommends the purchase of an
Emergency One (E-l)fire engine from Ed M.Feld Equipment Co.,Inc.,of Carroll,IA,
in the amount of $465,408.00;AND,
WHEREAS,the proposed purchase replaces a 1994 fire engine and is a budgeted
expense within the current fiscal year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 19th day of November,2012,that it hereby approves the purchase of a fire
engine from Ed M.Feld Equipment Co.,Inc.,of Carroll,IA,in the amount of
$465,408.00.
