RESOLUTION 12-284
APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR WESTOWN MEADOWS PLAT 1
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,ARAC,L.L.c.(the "Developer")has requested final approval of West own
Meadows Plat I (the "Plat");AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of
the Plat on November 27,2012;AND,
WHEREAS,the Final Plat for Westown Meadows Plat 1 and the documents relating thereto
comply in all respects with Section §303 -Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Waukee
Municipal Code;AND,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa
on this 171h day of December,2012 that the Final Plat for Westown Meadows Plat 1 be and the
same is hereby accepted and approved by the City Council of the City of Waukee subject to final
review and approval of the legal documents by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Waukee does hereby accept the following
additional easements and documents to be filed with the Plat:
1.Warranty Deed for Lots A-B;
2.Public Utility Easement;
3.Public Sanitary Sewer Easement;
4.Public Sanitary Sewer and Overland Flowage Easement;
5.Public Storm Sewer Easement;
6.Public Overland Flowage Easement;
7.Public Access and Recreational Trail Easement;
8.Public Landscape Buffer Easement;
9.Public Purpose Easement;
10.Public Access and Recreational Trail and Storm Sewer Easement;
11.Public Storm Water Detention Easement;
12.Public Temporary Turnaround Easement;
13.Public Temporary Sediment Basin Easement;
14.Storm Water Management Facility Maintenance Covenant and Permanent
Easement Agreement;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file the
final plat of West own Meadows Plat I,as well as any other documents related thereto,with the
Dallas County Recorder.
