RESOLUTION 13-011
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE
MEMBERS OF THE DES MOINES AREA METROPOLITAN PLANNING
ORGANIZATION (MPO)AND PRIMARY AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS FOR THE DES
MOINES AREA MPO TRANSPORTATION AND TECHNICAL COMMITTEE FOR THE
YEAR 2013
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint or reappoint representatives to the Des
Moines Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)and the MPO Transportation Technical
Committee (MPO TTC);AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has two primary representatives and two alternate representatives
on both the MPO and on the MPO TTC;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2013,Mayor William F.Peard appoints himself and Council
Member Dan Dutcher as primary representatives;and Council Member Casey L.Harvey and
Interim City Administrator Bradly M.Deets as altemate representatives to the MPO;AND,
WHEREAS,for the calendar year 2013,Mayor WilliarnF.Peard appoints Interim City
Administrator Bradly M.Deets and Administrative Services Manager/City Clerk McKinlee Gibson
as primary representatives;and Director of Public Works John Gibson and City Planner Ben
Landhauser as alternate representatives to the MPO TTC,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this 7th
day of January,2013,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointments to the Metropolitan
Planning Organization and to the Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Technical
Committee,
