RESOLUTION 13-022
APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITIES OF
CLIVE AND WAUKEE REGARDING HIGHWAY 6IHICKMAN ROAD
TRAFFIC SIGNAL MANAGEMENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the traffic signal management system installed as part of the City of
Waukee Traffic Signal-Fiber Optic Network Project is a system with which the City of
Waukee is unfamiliar but which is currently being utilized in the City of Clive;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Clive has provided a Letter of Understanding related to the
training of certain City of Waukee staff on the traffic signal management system;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee Attorney has reviewed the Letter of Understanding and
finds it satisfactory.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,
Iowa on this 21 st day of January,2013 that the Letter of Understanding between the Cities
of Clive and Waukee regarding Highway 6IHickman Road traffic signal management is
approved.
