RESOLUTION 09-113
APPROVAL OF THE WAUKEE DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State oflowa,is a duly organized
Municipal Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on August 18,2009,the Waukee City Council approved an agreement with
Iowa State University to complete a Downtown Master Plan as recommended by the 2008
Waukee Comprehensive Plan to further expand the principles and concepts of the
Comprehensive Plan (Resolution #08-200);AND,
WHEREAS,on April 14,2009,the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to the
City Council that the Downtown Master Plan be approved;AND,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 4th day of May 2009 that the Downtown Master Plan as completed by Iowa State
University be approved and serve as an amendment to the 2008 Waukee Comprehensive Plan
as it relates to the area classified within the Comprehensive Plan as Downtown.
