RESOLUTION APPROVIt,\,G OFFER TO Bur REAL ESTATE AND ACCEPTANCE
AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF WAUKEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City Administrator executed an Offer to Buy Real Estate and Acceptance
Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement")and said Agreement was accepted by the
Sellers,Bruce and Katherine Ritchie,for certain property locally known as 25 Northview,
Waukee,Iowa;Al'lD
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Waukee deems it to be in the best interest of the
City to purchase the property;AND
WHEREAS,the proposed Agreement between Katherine and Bruce Ritchie and the City of
Waukee is attached as Exhibit "A".
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Offer to Buy Real Estate and Acceptance Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized to executed said
Agreement on behalf of the City and the City Staff isdirected to proceed ill accordance with the
Agreement.Upon the determination of the City Attorney that the conditions of the offer have
been satisfied and title delivered staff is authorized and directed to proceed with closing.
