RESOLUTION 05-244
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION
IN CONNECTION WITH THE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR
OF PUBLIC WORKS PERFORMING ADDITIONAL DUTIES
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,that the Director of Public Works will be acting as Interim City Administrator,in
addition to his regular duties;AND,
WHEREAS,Beth Richardson,Administrative Assistant to the Director of Public Works,will
continue to work in that capacity as well as provide assistance to him while he acts as Interim
City Administrator,as he directs;AND,
WHEREAS,in addition to the aforementioned,Beth Richardson will be assisting by fulfilling
the duties as the Deputy City Clerk,for the period that the current Deputy is out on maternity
leave;AND,
WHEREAS,it is the desire of the City Council to provide additional compensation related to the
employee's performance of those additional duties on a temporary basis.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that Beth
Richardson be temporarily compensated,in addition to her compensation previously established
for her duties as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Public Works,$2.50 per hour,for
the period,while she continues to be employed,begirming with John Gibson called upon to act
as Interim City Administrator,until July 1,2006.
