COUNCIL AUTHORIZATION TO WAIVE THE BUILDING PERMIT,GAS HOOK-UP,
WATER HOOK-UP,SEWER HOOK-UP AND CAPITAL FEES FOR THEB.R.AV.E.HOME
SET TO BE RAFFLED OFF NOVEMBER 27,1998.
WHEREAS,it is in the interest of all citizens to promote safety and awareness against violence in
all areas oflife,and
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee has a strong interest in promoting the well-being of all
residences and the B .RAV.E.foundation is seeking to assist in this cause,and
WHEREAS,the raffling of the home at 1940 Olson Drive,set for November 27,1998 will help
the Forever B.R.AV.E.Foundation fund educational programs aimed at reducing violence and
promoting awareness.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the building permit,gas hook-up,water hook-up,
sewer hook-up,and capital fees are hereby waived for the Forever B.RAV.E.Foundation house
to be raffled off November 27,1998.
