RESOLUTION 13-044
SETTING FORTH CHECK AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES AND AUTHORIZED
SIGNATORIES FOR THE CITY ACCOUNTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GENERALLY
ACCEPTED ACCOUNTING STANDARDS
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,Tim Moerman has been hired as the new City Administrator/Clerk for the City of
Waukee and has started his employment,February 19,2013;AND,
WHEREAS,Denman &Company advise that accepted accounting standards dictate that the
City assure appropriate checks and balances are in place and that it is appropriate to name the
City Administrator,Deputy City Clerk,and the Director of Finance as the authorized signatories;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that Tim
Moerman,City Administrator,be authorized to execute checks on behalf of the City of Waukee
with Rebecca Schuett,Deputy City Clerk,jointly,and that Linda Burkhart,Director of Finance,CO''''TIC as alternate signatory,effective 00 <he4'my of March,2~
