RESOLUTION MAKING A WARD OF CONTRACT [UTE AVENUE
(A/KJA R-22)JOHNSON CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
PROJECT],RCB CULVERT RPLC -TWIN BOX
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE OF WAUKEE,IOWA:
Section 1.That the following bid for the construction of certain public
improvements described in general as Ute Avenue (a/k/a R-22)Johnson Creek Bridge
Replacement Project,RCB CULVERT RPLC -TWIN BOX,be and is hereby accepted,
the same being the lowest responsible bid received for such work,as follows:
Contractor:GUS Construction Co.,Inc.,of Casey,IA
Amount of bid:$384,748.97
Portion ofproject:All Construction Work
Section 2.That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract with
the contractor for the construction of the public improvements,such contract not to be
binding on the City until approved by this City Council.
PASSED AND APPROVED,this 4th day of March,2013.
