RESOLUTION 13-079
APPROVING CITY OF WAUKEE JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE POSITION OF
GIS COORDINATOR
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State oflowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,as part of the FY20 13 -14 budget,the Waukee City Council approved authorizing
the addition of a GIS Coordinator position;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff believes it is in the best interest of the City to hire for the position prior
to July I,2013;AND,
WHEREAS,the Director of Public Works and Human Resources Manager/Assistant Finance
Director have examined the duties to be fulfilled by this position,created ajob description,and
recommend approval.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 1st day of April,2013,that it hereby approves the GIS Coordinator position and job
description.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,that City
staff are hereby authorized to hire for the GIS Coordinator position prior to July I,2013.
