RESOLUTION 2021-173
APPROVING INSTALLATION OF STREETLIGHT PROPOSAL FROM
MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY ]SE LAUREL STREET, WMIS 2860966]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, is a duly organized
Municipal Organization; AND,
WHEREAS, MidAmerican Energy proposes to install five 100 Watt LED equivalent lights
on 28' galvanized steel poles with 6' masts; AND,
WHEREAS, the street lights will be installed on steel poles and will be served by
underground conductors but will be billed to the City at the wood pole, overhead rate at a cost
of $37,082.46;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that
the Installation of Streetlight Proposal from MidAmerican Energy SE Laurel Street, WMIS
2860966] is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa, and approved this the 3`d day of
May, 2021.
