RESOLUTION 13-
APPROVING AND ACCEPTING WARRANTY DEED FOR
STREET LOTS FROM SUNSET RIDGE WEST HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION -
SUNSET RIDGE SUBDIVISION
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee annexed in the Sunset Ridge Subdivision in 2007;AND
WHEREAS,the preannexation agreements with the property owners within Sunset Ridge
stipulated that the City would take over ownership and maintenance within the subdivision;
AND,
WHEREAS,it has recently been brought to the attention of the City of Waukee that a warranty
deed for the streets within Sunset Ridge Subdivision had never been provided by the
Homeowner's Association;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 15th day of April 2013 that the warranty deed associated with the streets within the Sunset
Ridge Subdivision is hereby accepted and approved by the City Council of the City of Waukee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file the
warranty deed for the streets within the subdivision,as well as any other documents related
thereto,with the Dallas County Recorder.
