RESOLUTION 13-083
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE TELBY LANE BETWEEN SE
GREENTREE DRIVE AND SE OXFORD DRIVE ON SUNDAY,JUNE 2,2013,BETWEEN
THE HOURS OF 11:30 A,M.AND 2:00 P,M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD
BLOCK PARTY [WAUKEE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee United Methodist Church,650 Ashworth Drive,requests the temporary closing
of SE Telby Lane between SE Greentree Drive and SE Oxford Drive on Sunday,June 2,2013,
between the hours of 11:30 a.m,and 2:00 p.m.for the purpose ofa neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to §364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this is"
day of April,2013,that it hereby approves the temporary closing ofSE Telby Lane between SE
Greentree Drive and SE Oxford Drive on Sunday,June 2,2013,between the hours of 11 :30 a.m.and
2:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
