HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-05-03-Resolution 2021-182_Comprehensive Plan Amendment, Warrior 5 LLCTHE CITY OF WAUKEE, IOWA RESOLUTION 2021-182 APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO THE 2019 IMAGINE WAUKEE 2040 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN RELATED TO PROPERTY OWNED BY WARRIOR 5, LLC (WARRIOR LANE AND MEREDITH DRIVE) IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE, IOWA WHEREAS, the City of Waukee, Dallas County, State of Iowa, has a Comprehensive Plan in place to guide the City in its future development; AND, WHEREAS, the current designation of the area located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Meredith Drive and Warrior Lane is designated as "Single Family Residential"; AND, WHEREAS, Warrior 5, LLC has requested that the City Council amend the land use plan to reflect a combination of "Community Commercial" and "Medium Density Residential" as depicted on attached Exhibit A. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa that the Amendment to the 2019 Imagine Waukee 2040 Comprehensive Plan is approved to reflect the modification of the Warrior 5, LLC property located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Meredith Drive and Warrior Lane.
