HomeMy WebLinkAbout2013-06-03-Resolutions 13-145_Job Descriptions - VariousTHE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA RESOLUTION 13-145 APPROVING JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CITY CLERK AND REVISED JOB DESCRIPTIONS FOR CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES MANAGER IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal Organization;AND, WHEREAS,on June 3,2013,the Waukee City Council passed ordinances related to the powers and duties of both the City Administrator and City Clerk in order to provide for the efficient administration ofthe different and distinct duties and responsibilities associated with both respective offices (Ordinances #2733,2734,2735);AND, WHEREAS,as a result of the approved ordinances,the position of City Clerk is created, necessitating the creation and approval of a job description for said position;AND, WHEREAS,the existing job descriptions for City Administrator and Administrative Services Manager require revisions to remove duties now assigned to the City Clerk and to update the reporting structure;AND, WHEREAS,the City Administrator and Human Resources Manager/Assistant Finance Director have examined and revised the job descriptions,and recommend approval, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on this 3'-d day of June,2013,that it hereby approves the job description for City Clerk and revised job descriptions for City Administrator and Administrative Services Manager.
