RESOLUTION 13-152
APPROVING REVISED JOB DESCRIPTIONS [WAUKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State ofIowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,after a review of the current job descriptions for all Waukee Public Library
positions,City staff conclude that the job descriptions must be revised in order to more
accurately reflect the duties and responsibilities for the positions;AND,
WHEREAS,the Waukee Public Library job descriptions recommended for revision are:
I.Library Director;
2.Library Assistant Director;
3.Youth Services Librarian;
4.Youth Services Assistant;
5.Cataloging Services Librarian;
6.Circulation Services Coordinator;
7.Circulation Services Assistant;
8.Technology Services Coordinator;
9.Summer Reading Program Assistant;
10.Shelver;AND,
WHEREAS,the Interim Library Director and Director of Human Resources recommend
approval of the job descriptions noted above.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this 17th day of June,2013,that it hereby approves the revised job descriptions [Waukee Public
Library].
