RESOLUTION 17-108
APPROVING THK MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE
ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE DALLAS COUNTY EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT COMMISSION AND E-911 COMMISSION FOR THE YEAR 2017
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'A UKEE,IOV'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a member of both the Dallas County Emergency
Management Commission and Dallas County E-911 Commission;AND,
WHEREAS,it is necessary for the Mayor to appoint an elected official as alternate member
to the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County E-911
Commission;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard appoints Council Member Anna Bergman as alternate
member to both the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and Dallas County
E-911 Commission.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session
this 21"day of February,2017,that it hereby approves the Mayor's appointment of alternate
member to the Dallas County Emergency Management Commission and las County E-911
Commission.
