RESOLUTION 17-164
APPROVING PAYMENT TO IOWA COMMUNITIES ASSURANCE POOL (ICAP)
FOR 04/01/2017 —06/30/2017 PROPERTY,AUTO,PROFESSIONAL &LIABILITY
INSURANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,483.51
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP)provides property,auto,professional
and liability insurance services for the City;AND,
WHEREAS,ICAP proposes a partial year renewal of policies for the period of April 1,2017
through June 30,2017 at a cost of $48,483.51;thereby extending our annual renewal to July I"
each fiscal year moving forward;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommend approval of the payment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa on
this the 20ia day of March,2017,that it hereby approves payment to Iowa Communities
Assurance Pool (ICAP)for 04/01/2017 —06/30/2017 property,auto,professional k,liability
insurance in the amount of $48,483.51.
