RESOLUTION 17-248
APPROVING THK TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SK BELFRY DRIVE FROM
142 STREET WEST TO SE BRENTWOOD DRIVE ON MONDAY,MAY 29,2017,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.AND 9:00 P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'A UKEE,ION'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,resident Molly MacMillan requests the temporary closing of SE Belfry Drive from
142aa Street west to SE Brentwood Drive on Monday,May 29,2017,between the hours of 4:00
p.m.and 9:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa ss364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
23"day of May,2017,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Belfry Drive from
142"Street west to SE Brentwood Drive on Monday,May 29,2017,between the hours of 4:00
p.m.and 9:00 p.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
