RESOLUTION 17-335
AUTHORIZING THE DELIVERY OF A NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee entered into a Two-Mile Agreement Xenia Rural Water dated
July 20,1992 and recorded in Book 728 Page 788 at the Dallas County Recorder's Office;AND
WHEREAS,the City recently annexed an area of land on either side of US Highway 6 more
particularly depicted on the map attached to the notice of intent attached hereto;AND
WHEREAS,pursuant to the terms of the Agreement the City of Waukee has the option to
purchase property from Xenia in accordance with the terms of the Two-Mile Agreement by
delivering a notice of intent to do so in accordance therewith;AND
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee desires to purchase property in accordance with the Two-Mile
Agreement pursuant to said agreement;
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council that approval is
given to deliver a notice of intent to purchase,attached hereto,to Xenia Rural Water.
