APPROVING MIDAMERICAN ENERGY COMPANY REFUNDABLE ADVANCE FOR
CONSTRUCTION,UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC SERVICE EXTENSION PROPOSAL
FOR SPECULATIVE USE [SE WESTOWN PKWY.LIGHTING CONTROLLER]
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA USE,IO 8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on February 6,2017,the Waukee City Council approved plans,specifications,
form of contract and estimate of cost for the SE Westown Parkway Extension and Grand Prairie
Parkway Greenbelt Weirs,SE Parkview Crossing Drive to Grand Prairie Parkway (Resolution
¹17-052);AND,
WHEREAS,MidAmerican Energy Company has provided a proposal in order to extend
underground electric lines along SE Westown Parkway to serve the lighting controller;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
6"day of February,2017,that it hereby approves the MidAmerican Energy Company
Refundable Advance for Construction,Underground Electric Service Extension Proposal for
Speculative Use [SE Westown Pkwy.Lighting Controller].
