RESOLUTION 17-369
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF NE BADGER LANE FROM N.
WARRIOR LANE EAST TO 170 NE BADGER LANK ON SATURDAY,AUGUST 19,
2017,WITH AN ALTERNATE DATE OF SUNDAY,AUGUST 27,2017,BETWEEN THK
HOURS OF 4:00 P.M.AND 11:45P.M.FOR THE PURPOSE OF A NEIGHBORHOOD
BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF 8'AUKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,resident Josh Wilson requests the temporary closing of NE Badger Lane from N.
Warrior Lane east to 170 NE Badger Lane on Saturday,August 19,2017,with an alternate date
of Sunday,August 27,2017,between the hours of 4:00 p.m.and 11:45 p.m.for the purpose of a
neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa tJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7"day of August,2017,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of NE Badger Lane from
N.Warrior Lane east to 170 NE Badger Lane on Saturday,August 19,2017,with an alternate
date of Sunday,August 27,2017,between the hours of 4:00 p.m.and 11:45 p.m.for the purpose
of a neighborhood block party.
