RESOLUTION 17-371
APPROVING THK TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS FOR
THK WAUKKE 10 EVENT
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IO8'A
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Pasha Korsakov proposes the Waukee 10 event,including a 10-mile race and a
separate 5K race,the routes for which will take participants along various City streets;AND,
WHEREAS,Mr.Korsakov requests that the following City streets be closed on Saturday,
September 16,2017,and at the times specified for the event:

WHEREAS,pursuant to I'1364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7ia day of August,2017,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of certain public streets
for the Waukee 10 Event.
