RESOLUTION 17-171
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE TKLBY LANE FROM SK L.A.
GRANT PARKWAY WEST TO SE OXFORD DRIVE ON SUNDAY,APRIL 16,2017,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 6:00 A.M.AND 8:00 A.M.FOR THK PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY [WAUKEE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE]
IN THENAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF O'AUKEE,IONA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,Waukee United Methodist Church requests the temporary closing of SE Telby
Lane from SE L.A.Grant Parkway west to SE Oxford Drive on Sunday,April 16,2017,between
the hours of 6:00 a.m,and 8:00 a.m.for the purpose of Easter Sunrise Services;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa (364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
3'day of April,2017,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Telby Lane from SE
L.A.Grant Parkway west to SE Oxford Drive on Sunday,April 16,2017,between the hours of
6:00 a.m.and 8:00 a.m.for the purpose of a neighborhood block party [Waukee United
Methodist Church Easter Sunrise Service].
