RESOLUTION 17-317
APPROVING WEBSTER ELECTRIC,INC.,PROPOSAL
[ALICE'S ROAD CORRIDOR PHASE 4 PROJECT,DUCT INSTALLATION]
IN THE NAME AND BY THEA UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the City is currently construction public improvements as part of the Alice's Road
Corridor Phase 4 Project;AND,
WHEREAS,on July 10,2017,the Waukee City Council approved a proposal from
MidAmerican Energy Company to relocate a transformer at 1100 SE Alice's Road (Resolution
017-316);AND,
WHEREAS,as part of the transformer relocation,the City of Waukee shall be responsible for
the installation of a primary duct from the existing transformer location to the proposed location;
AND,
WHEREAS,Webster Electric,Inc.,has provided a proposal,attached hereto as Exhibit A,for
the duct installation;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends approval of the agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
10'"day of July,2017,that it hereby approves the Webster Electric,Inc.,proposal [Alice's Road
Corridor Phase 4 Project,Duct Installation].
