RESOLUTION 17-246
AUTHORIZING VEENSTRA &KIMM,INC.,TO PROCEED WITH
WAUKEE/WEST DES MOINES WATER WORKS TASK 3
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas
County;AND,
WHEREAS,on August 23,2016,the Waukee City Council approved a Professional
Service Agreement [the "Agreement"]with Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,for Joint
Waukee/West Des Moines Water Works Source Water Availability Study (Resolution
//16-371);AND,
WHEREAS,the Agreement included provisions for an optional Task 3,Test Pumping
and Water Allocation Permitting;AND,
WHEREAS,City staff recommends authorization of Veenstra &Kimm,Inc.,to
proceed with Task 3,Parts A and B,as specified in the Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 15"day of May,2017,that it hereby authorizes Veenstra &Kimm Inc.,to
proceed with Waukee/West Des Moines Water Works Task 3,Parts A and
