RESOLUTION 18-084
AWARDING QUOTE FOR 2018 STREET MEDIAN LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHOBITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOWA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE,IOWA:
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Iowa is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,on June 17,2013,the Waukee City Council approved the Financial Policy—
Purchasing Policy of the Standard Administrative Policy and Procedures Manual (Resolution
¹13-162);AND,
WHEREAS,said policy includes a provision that local preference shall be considered if pricing
is within 5%of the non-local bids;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the following quote for certain public
improvements described in general as the 2018 Street Median Landscape Maintenance Project
and described in the Request for Quotes that was provided to the vendors is hereby accepted:
Contractor:RJ Lawn and Landscaping of Waukee,Iowa
Amount of quote:$12,250.00
