RESOLUTION 18-187
APPROVING CITY OF WAUKEK NATURAL GAS EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THECITYOF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,as a member of the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities (IAMU),the City is
required to adopt and follow an Emergency Response Plan for all gas pipeline facilities operated
by the Gas Utility;AND
WHEREAS,the Emergency Response Plan shall contain procedures for preventing accidents
and responding quickly and effectively to accidents and emergency situations,should they occur.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Waukee Natural Gas Emergency
Response Plan is approved and adopted.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved this the 7'day of May,
2018.
