RESOLUTION 18-180
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS FOR
THE CELEBRATE WAUKEE FESTIVAL
IN THE NAME AND BY THE A UTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WA UKEE,IOIYA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the Celebrate Waukee Planning Committee requests the following temporary
closures of specific public streets for activities associated with the Celebrate Waukee Festival:

Lane east to SE Waddell Way and S.Warrior Lane from SE University Avenue north to
SE Park Road beginning 8:30 p.m.and ending 10:30p.m.on Saturday,June 2,2018;
AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to $364.12(2'),public ways and grounds may be temporarily closed by
resolution;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
7 day of May,2018,that it hereby approves the temporary closin rtain public streets for
the Celebrate Waukee Festival.
