RESOLUTION 17-569
RECOGNIZING THE SERVICE OF BRIAN HARRISON
TO THE CITY OF WAUKEE
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAU1CEE,IONA
WHEREAS,Brian Harrison has faithfully served one term as a Waukee City
Council Member,beginning January 2014;AND,
WHEREAS,as a member of the council,Brian served as Mayor Pro Tem in 2014
and has been a member of the Personnel Committee;AND,
WHEREAS,Brian served on the council during a period of tremendous progress
in Waukee,including new economic development ventures and opportunities,
record-breaking building permit and valuation statistics,and continuing positive
population growth;AND,
WHEREAS,as both an elected official and citizen,he has worked tirelessly to
make Waukee the vibrant and thriving community it is today.
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the City of Waukee Mayor and City
Council in session this 18'"day of December,2017,that it hereby approves the
expression of appreciation to Brian Harrison for his years of service to the citi ns
of Waukee.
