RESOLUTION 18-015
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONS
FOR THE CITY OF WAUKEE FOR THK YEAR 2018
IN THENAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is required to name an official publication for the
purpose of publication of official notices and other required publications;AND,
WHEREAS,such publication should be available to the general public and have regular
circulation in the City of Waukee;AND,
WHEREAS,history of usage and general public expectations support the reappointment
of the Dallas County News as primary official publication and the Des Moines Register
as alternate official publication.
NOW THEREFORE BK IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in
session this 2"day of January,2018,that it hereby approves the appointme t of the
Dallas County News and Des Moines Register as official blications for e City of
Waukee.
