RESOLUTION 18-153
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WALNUT STREET FROM 6 "
STREET WEST 125 FEET TO THE ALLEY BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 10:00 A.M.
ON SATURDAY,MAY 5,2018,AND 8:00 A.M.ON SUNDAY,MAY 6,2018,FOR THE
PURPOSE OF A STREET PARTY [CHOPS OLD BANK]
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,the owners of Chops Old Bank request the temporary closing of Walnut Street
from 6'"Street west 125 feet to the alley between the hours of 10:00 a.m.on Saturday,May 5,
2018,and 8:00 a.m.on Sunday,May 6,2018,for the purpose of a street party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa I'l364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
16'"day of April,2018,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of Walnut Street from 6
Street west 125 feet to the alley between the hours of 10:00 a.m.on Saturday,M y 5,2018,and
8:00 a.m.on Sunday,May 6,2018,for the purpose of a street party.
