RESOLUTION 18-303
APPROVING THE TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SE PARKER DRIVE FROM SE
CRABAPPLE LANE TO SK WESTGATE DRIVE BETWEEN THK HOURS OF 5:30
P.M.AND 11:00P.M.ON FRIDAY,JULY 27,2018,FOR THK PURPOSE OF A
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY
IN THE NAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,resident Jill Renaud requests the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive from SE
Crabapple Lane to SE Westgate Drive between the hours of 5:30 p.m.and 11:00p.m.on Friday,
July 27,2018,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party;AND,
WHEREAS,pursuant to Code of Iowa IJ364.12(2)(a),public ways and grounds may be
temporarily closed by resolution.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
23'day of July,2018,that it hereby approves the temporary closing of SE Parker Drive from SE
Crabapple Lane to SE Westgate Drive between the hours of 5:30 p.m.and 11:00p.m.on Friday,
July 27,2018,for the purpose of a neighborhood block party.
