RESOLUTION 18-278
APPROVING TEMPORARY PARKING ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF SE BOOTH
DRIVE FROM SE L.A.GRANT PARKWAY WEST TO SE OXFORD DRIVE FROM
JULY 23 TO JULY 27,2018,FOR A SPECIFIC THIRTY-SIX (36)HOUR PERIOD
IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on a day during the week of July 23,2018,the homeowners association for Glynn
Village Townhomes will be adding an asphalt overlay in the alleyway behind the units along the
south side of SE Booth Drive,blocking access to the driveways and garage units for certain
residents;AND,
WHEREAS,the homeowners association requests the allowance of temporary parking along the
south side of SE Booth Drive from SE L.A.Grant Parkway west to SE Oxford Drive from July
23 to July 27,2018,for one (I)period of thirty-six (36)hours during asphalt pouring and curing.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Waukee City Council in session this
16'day of July,2018,that it hereby approves temporary parking along the south side of SE
Booth Drive from SE L.A.Grant Parkway west to SE Oxford Drive from July 23 to July 27,
2018,for a specific thirty-six (36)hour period.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Waukee Public Works Department shall post
signage noting the temporary parking during the 36 hour eriod of asphalt pouring and curing.
