RESOLUTION 18-331
APPROVING MARKETING AGREEMKNT (REVISED)WITH UTILITY SERVICE
PARTNERS PRIVATE LABEL,INC.,D/B/A SERVICE LINE WARRANTIES OF
AMERICA
IN THE NAMEAND BY THEAUTHORITYOF THE CITY OF WAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee,Dallas County,State of Iowa,is a duly organized Municipal
Organization;AND,
WHEREAS,on July 16,2018,the Waukee City Council approved a Marketing Agreement with
Utility Service Partners Private Label,Inc.,d/b/a Service Line Warranties of America in order to
market optional sewer and water line lateral service warrantees to residential homeowners
(Resolution ¹18-281);AND,
WHEREAS,the approved agreement included errors related to pricing;AND,
WHEREAS,Service Line Warranties of American has provided a revised agreement to correct
pricing;AND,
WHEREAS,the City Attorney has reviewed the revised Marketing Agreement and finds it
satisfactory;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waukee that the
Marketing Agreement (Revised)with Utility Service Partners Private Label,Inc.,d/b/a Service
Line Warranties of America is hereby approved.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Waukee,Iowa,and approved the 20'"day of August,
2018.
