RESOLUTION 19-005
APPROVING THE MAYOR'S APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OF POLICE
FOR 2019
INTHENAMEANDBYTHEAUTHORITYOF THE CITYOF IYAUKEE,IOWA
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee is a duly organized municipality within Dallas County;
AND,
WHEREAS,the City of Waukee must annually appoint an individual to the position of
Chief of Police;AND,
WHEREAS,Mayor William F.Peard reappoints John F.Quinn as Chief of Police for
calendar year 2019;AND,
WHEREAS,John F.Quinn has served as the City of Waukee Chief of Police since
March 2014;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Waukee,Iowa on the
7"'day of January,2019,does hereby approve the mayor's appointment of John F.Quinn
as Chief of Police for 2019.
